The man stared in amazement at our motley crew, he’d been accosted by what must’ve looked like a dishevelled group of street urchins. After the initial shock he began to examine Paul’s arm, as best he could, through the network of twigs and elastic belts. He shook his head; “Oh my god, who’s put the splint on?”, “It was ‘im mister, I told him it wouldn’t work”. Vincent had regained some of his composure and tried to elect himself spokesman; “Not work? This is excellent, quick thinking. You’ve done very well little ‘un”.
